E-websmart Announces Rochester Education Foundation of 2008 Charity of the Year
Springfield, IL, January 22, 2008 – E-websmart.com, a Rochester, IL-based company specializing in visual and on-line marketing, announced today the selection of the Rochester Education Foundation as its Charity of the Year.
"The Rochester Education Foundation is a local organization that is doing terrific work in our own backyard," explained Michelle Tjelmeland, e-websmart's owner and a parent of two students who attend Rochester Schools.
"In a world where budget demands are ever-increasing, the Foundation supports worthy programs and projects that might otherwise go unfunded in our schools."
As this year's recipient, the Rochester Education Foundation received a marketing makeover valued at more than $8,000 at no charge. A new logo, along with letterhead, envelope, and business card graphics were donated by Sharon Hewitt, a local graphic designer and e-websmart's senior art director. Web site content, set-up and training were donated by e-websmart.
"The new website will greatly enhance the exposure of the foundation to the school community. It will also provide quick access to timely information about the efforts of this group that serves the Rochester Schools," said Tom Bertrand, Superintendent of Rochester Community Unit School District 3A.
"E-websmart was an outstanding partner. The firm has enabled us to get our message out to a larger audience in a creative and meaningful way as we continue to build upon our district's "Tradition of Excellence."
