e-websmart of Springfield Advances to National Competition
Springfield IL - A Web site designed by e-websmart has advanced to the national ADDY® contest, the largest marketing competition in the country with about 55,000 entries competing in over 200 cities coast to coast. The national competition represents the third and final phase of the contest.
In March, e-websmart received a Silver ADDY at the 2007 Central Illinois Advertising Association (CIAA) for its design of the Springfield Welding & Auto Body Web site, springfieldautobody.net. The site was then entered into the district competition, and in April, e-websmart received word that the Web site was selected to advance to the national competition. More than 1,500 national finalists will compete in the national ADDY awards. National jury chair Rick Carpenter, president of DDB Group Los Angeles, will lead an illustrious panel of judges as they select winners from across the country. Judging will take place May 4-5 in Washington , D.C.
